Spiritual Exploration & Faith Deconstruction
Spiritual Exploration
Do you hold a belief of a “higher power” that doesn’t necessarily fit with a specific religious affiliation?
Have you considered yourself religious in the past but are beginning to reevaluate your personal beliefs?
Are you unclear about what exactly you believe in?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you could benefit from some spiritual exploration work. I have discovered a passion for guiding people down their own personal spiritual journeys. Every individual’s path is unique and brings its own joys and challenges. Ultimately, I developed my passion for this work through my own spiritual awakening experience. Engaging in the practices that I offer to my clients has completely changed my own life for the better.
This type of work assists my clients in discovering their relationship with their soul, the souls of others, and the Universe as a whole. Through our work together, we explore the light and dark that is held inside. I assist them in discovering healing in areas that have been neglected or avoided. In combination with my clinical treatment strategies, I utilize knowledge of alternative healing practices such as breathwork, meditation, and shadow work. This balance of Eastern and Western thinking provides my clients with a holistic healing experience.
Faith Deconstruction
If you in the process of deconstructing your faith following past experiences with religious trauma, you are not alone. Many people have been betrayed or hurt by their past religious affiliations in some way or another and our society seems to finally be starting to shine light on this problem. Now this is not to say that all religions or religious experiences are bad ones, however this is an acknowledgement that there can be unhelpful and even traumatic religious experiences.
Therefore, I am here as a support to those that are choosing to go through the process of deconstructing their faith and personal beliefs. This looks like critically reevaluating what you have been taught in the past while discovering your own personal belief system. Deconstruction also often includes processing of traumatic experiences related to past religious affiliations.
There is no “one size fits all” deconstruction method because it is a very unique and personal experience to every person that chooses to explore this path. So allow me to assist you in creating a faith deconstruction process that leads to your own sense of healing.
